When to use Minusa?

Use Minusa for biological pest control of leaf miner larvae. Minusa targets all larval stages, but especially the first and second stage.

How does Minusa work?

The adult female parasitic wasps of Dacnusa sibirica lay their eggs inside the leaf miner larva. The parasitic wasps develop inside the leaf miner pupae. Adult wasps will emerge from the pupae.

Release parasitic wasps between leaves In the morning or in the evening.

Best working conditions Minusa

Minusa is recommended at low levels of infection. As Minusa is active even in the colder period of the year, start using it at the beginning of the season. When temperatures rise Minusa can be supported by Miglyphus.


Biological beneficials have a very short life expectancy and therefore need to be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after receipt. Failure to do so can have a negative impact on their quality. In case you do need to store Minusa, please follow the instructions below.
